Genelle Carter is the Broker-in-Charge at Sun Realty's Corolla office. Genelle has been on the Outer Banks since 1998. She has lived in Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Carova Beach (the 4-wheel drive area of Corolla) and currently resides in Southern Shores.
Genelle has earned the designations of Accredited Buyers Representative, Graduate of the REALTOR Institute and Recreation and Resort Specialist. She serves on the Outer Banks Board of Directors as Legislative Chairperson; past board service includes Bylaws Chairperson ’04, Membership Chairperson ‘05, and in ’06 as a One Year Director. She also actively serves on local committees including Professional Standards and Chairs the Sponsorship Opportunities task force. On a state level she has served on the Legislative Committee ('05) and is currently serving on the Equal Opportunity & Cultural Diversity Committee (’06 & ’07). This combination adds to her real estate experience and education, allowing her to offer a unique level of service when assisting you with real estate transactions.
